Wear and wash tested, and they haven’t lost their elasticity or comfort. I think it’s a little dubious when someone is selling a product that you haven’t seen them wear or use themselves (something I picked up from Steve Jobs).
I collaborated with the unstoppable Matt Bailey (@baileyillustration) on these and the design had to be simple – his skulls are iconic.

Origins of Influence
“Naomi With Raised Arms”
Herb Ritts (1988)
I remember this poster in the house (not this exact one in the photo) when I was really young, around 1989. My mum introduced me to photography and art really early – since I was three in fact, and it’s definitely had an influence on the way I draw women today.
At the time I wasn’t sure if I was allowed to even look at it. I knew what “right” and “wrong” was very early, but I was allowed to think for myself – and learn that there was nothing wrong with this photo at all.

The Vintage Look
I think that the tees we sell look better battered and vintage looking - I achieved this forcibly by washing in the machine at 40 degrees and using high heat in a tumble dryer, then wearing it as much as possible and repeating the steps over the space of six months. You will also find that the purple neck label also slightly changed colour during the process
